Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Johnny Evans received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina-Asheville and later received his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University. Additionally, he received a Post Master’s Degree Certificate in Addictions Counseling from the Cratis D. Williams Graduate School at Appalachian State University. He holds the credential of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of North Carolina.
Evans has had the great honor of working as therapist and team leader for multiple community mental health agencies and has had the opportunity to be trained in multiple evidence-based treatments. He believes that meaningful therapy lies in developing authentic relationships and working in a collaborative manner toward desired goals. He has devoted his life to pursuing his passion for continued personal growth, education, and offering quality therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.
